He was ( or 'is' ?? ) such a class and acting singer, that the comming decade can't give us that type of mastroe...he himself was a school of learning how to make a song live and full of feelings by playbacking it according to the situation of the film, the actor performing on the screen, the lyrics of the song , the mood essential for the song....Not only that but if he has to sing the same word twice in the same song, you can observe that he has repeated the same word with different melody and stress...AND what is his special brand quality is to implement such an art of singing notes decoration at the time of live recording (which is very difficulty to remember or it requires many rehersals)....while this man has done it in no time, no rehersals....sometimes the composer was getting surprised, to hear Rafi's singing notes decoration, which the composer hasn't thought even...these gimmicks he was able to record becoz the GOD has given him a special sense and art of singing.....One more thing , if as a singer the Rafi is fixed for the film, then the music composer has all freedom to create any type of song, of any octave and for any acting screen hero....readers are requested to send me such a great singer's list of songs they are having in their memory with name of the film and year....thanks= Mahesh
